2022 Korea Society of Microbiology and Biotechnology Award, "World Institute of Kimchi" The World Institute of Kimchi won the technical award of the Korean Society of Microbiology and Biotechnology. The Society Technology Award is awarded to individuals or organizations of researchers who have contributed greatly to the development of technology in the field of microbiology and biotechnology. The World Institute of Kimchi was recognized for its contribution to strengthening the quality competitiveness of Korean kimchi through scientific research on kimchi germ development and kimchi excellence in response to the kimchi fermentation paradigm and changes in consumption trends. The award ceremony was held at the 2022 International Academic Conference of the Korea Microbiological and Biotechnology Association, and Park Hae-woong, head of the Technology Innovation Research Division, took the stage on behalf of the World Institute of Kimchi, Jang Hae-chun.   |
