Genomic Information
Elevating Kimchi Research, Expanding Global ValueBank of Kimchi Resources and Information
Genomic Information
A comprehensive omics databaseThis database provides omics information on fermentation microorganisms isolated from traditional fermented foods and ingredients such as kimchi, salted seafood (jeotgal), and solar salt.
Genomic information includes both the chromosomal genomes of kimchi-associated microorganisms and the predicted functions of their genes.
Kimchi Microbial Omics Information Service
The World Institute of Kimchi offers omics data on kimchi microorganisms derived from genomic analyses. Information includes
- Gene classification by function (Clusters of Orthologous Groups of proteins, COGs)
- Genome maps (Proksee)
- Gene annotation results (EggNOG Annotation Results)
