In the current situation, most of agricultural corporations are of small or middle scales, presenting a limit in the promotion of the competitiveness of local agriculture through their scales. Since their operating profits show losses or small profits, it seems that constructing a revenue structure to make stable profits is impossible.
In particular, our agriculture desperately needs to secure agricultural businesses with speciality and management ability in order to have a high competitiveness of our nation’s agriculture. For that, a plan that leads agricultural corporations, which play a pivotal role in crop-producing areas along with the national agricultural cooperative federation, to conduct the combination of organizations according to items and joint projects should be actively prepared.
Thus, this research tries to make a foundation for the systematization according to items of agricultural corporations, which have been isolated from governmental policies, contributing to the increase of the competitiveness of our agriculture and agricultural industry by suggesting a plan to progress the systematization through an analysis of actual conditions of agricultural corporations regarding their management status, problems, and intention about the systematization according to items in Chungcheongnamdo, in which the largest number of corporations are located.
